Our lunch speaker today will be Rika Ayotte, Executive Director at Deschutes Land Trust. Since 2015, Rika Ayotte has served as the executive director for Discover Your Forest, a Central Oregon nonprofit partner to the Deschutes and Ochoco National Forests.

She holds an MBA in nonprofit management and is also the founder and CEO of Forest Path Consulting, a nonprofit organizational development firm. Rika has more than 15 years of experience working in nonprofit organizations. She was a leader in the foundation of both the Deschutes Trails Coalition and Ochoco Trails Strategy groups helping to convene dozens of partners and raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for sustainable trails in Central Oregon.

She has led multiple strategic planning processes and organizational development efforts for public lands partners and conservation organizations across the western United States.

This meeting will both in-person at the Riverhouse (Deschutes South), and virtual.

J Bar J "Rockstars". These guys have been out at the Vets Village almost every day during the week, working hard. It's impressive to watch them work. They have been essential to the progress being made. (pictures of their faces are not allowed)

As announced at our August 24 meeting, all club members and guests attending in-person club meetings must be vaccinated.

The same requirement has been made for all speakers who address our club at in-person meetings. Speakers will need to be vaccinated. Unvaccinated members who are interested in staying active in the club can attend meetings virtually using zoom.


President Gary has set a goal for our club's donations to The Rotary Foundation and is tracking it weekly. You can set up to have a monthly or quarterly amount deducted automatically from your bank account, or make an annual donation. You can donate at a weekly meeting or go online to make your donation.
