Please join us for the first Happy Hour of the New Year on Tuesday, January 31st at the Lemon Tree from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm.
The Lemon Tree is normally not open in the late afternoon but they wanted to honor our Rotary Club for all of the good things that we do. They will be providing appetizers.
We're less than a month away from the raffle drawing at Charter Night on February 24th. If you haven't picked up your tickets please do so!
As Rotarians, we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those around us, especially the youth. We all need to take an active role in selling at least 30 tickets each. Together, we can make a significant impact in our community and support the growth and development of our youth.
The next World Community Service meeting is at Mike and Cindy O'Neil's home Wednesday, February 1st @ 5:00 pm, The committee will be discussing the project fair in Merida Yucatan (Mexico) this February 20th-26th. Meetings in the past have had wine and appetizers, please feel free to bring your favorite beverage and side dish. Please Follow this link to email Jamie to RSVP. Mike's Home Address is 67305 Rabbitbrush Dr
Note from the Treasurer - just one more time: Beginning this January, the Riverhouse increased our rates for the room and the meals. As a result, your Board of Directors has approved an increase in the weekly charges for meals and the room. They will be increasing from $1 each to $15 and $7, respectively. As a reminder, the club bills in advance. Therefore, invoices for Q3 (issued January of 2023) will include these increased rates. Members who qualify for the “Rule of 85” are only charged for the room fee in advance. Meals are charged in arrears and only for those meetings attended. Finally, please keep in mind that you can qualify for a credit against your meal costs by attending other Rotary clubs or other meetings for our club. It’s called make-up and it can save you $15 for each meeting you attend.
Chris del Pilar, a new Rotarian, jumped right in to assist in helping our friends at the RMH. Our first month of many this year.
