Going, Going Almost Gone!!!
There are only a couple of regular football home games left. If you have not handed out programs yet you are really missing out! The energy, electricity in the air, competition, and most of all connecting to the fans as they rush into the stadium. Oh and an opportunity of Service Above Self!!
Here are the last two regular football home games (prior to any playoff games):
Thursday, October 27 @ Caldera High School (vs Summit) Arrive 6:30 PM to hand out programs with game time 7:30 PM Summit is 7-1 and probably headed to the playoffs!!
Friday, October 28 @ Bend High School (vs Mountain View) Arrive 6:30 PM to hand out programs with game time 7:30 PM Bend is 5-1 and probably headed to the playoffs
Mountain View is 5-3

Veterans Day Parade Volunteers
We need 11 adults to join YouthBuild Heart of Oregon teens that will man 11 traffic barricades on streets off of Harmon where the parade is lining up.
Date: Friday, Nov. 11 - Veterans Day Parade Time: 9:30 am Place: Staging Tent corner of Harmon and Nashville= Duty: Man traffic barricades on the westside streets with Heart of Oregon YouthBuild Bring: Water, warm clothes, gloves, and wear a Yellow vest if you can (Rotary or buy at Home Depot or Lowes)
9:30 am staging tent: Receive a Map and List of Street Names. Lt. Burleigh BPD will brief Rotary volunteers and YouthBuild teens about duty manning traffic barricades.
10 am. Barricades are set up. After the parade ends 12:15 -12:30, break down the barricades and place them on the grassy area for City to pick up.

SLEEP IN HEAVENLY PEACE - Bed build day for kids
There are kids sleeping on the floor in Deschutes County! Help end child “bedlessness”, so all four Bend Rotary clubs are joining together on Saturday, October 29, and help meet the goal of building 25 bunk beds on that day.
Details:
When: Saturday, October 29
Time: 9 am – 2:30 pm (45 min lunch break)
Work 1/2 day or full day shift or whenever you can assist
Lunch and all necessary tools will be provided
Location: Aaken Electric, 1260 NE 1st, Bend
Volunteers may have an opportunity to help deliver a bed to a Central Oregon family.
