Brothers of Temple University Men’s Gymnastics,
As an alum of our program, you know firsthand the type of transformational experience that collegiate men’s gymnastics can provide.
We need your help.
This year, as a result of the pandemic, most of college athletics finds itself in a fiscal crisis. With the continuation of the coronavirus spread, our in-person fundraisers and revenue-producing meets are looking less and less likely; we, therefore, need to fill this gap and set ourselves up for success.
We see challenges as opportunities and believe the model TUMG has established will sustain us for another 95 years and Temple will continue to be a vital part of American men’s gymnastics as we have since 1926.
This year, more than others, it is vital to have your participation.
With help from our Board members, we believe we have a roadmap for moving sustainably forward. This path is not possible without a significant level of annual recurring support. A conservative calculation for a successful annual operation is around $30,000.
We are asking you to make a financial investment in our program. Please consider a minimum contribution of at least $100. This can be broken out monthly or in one lump sum. If you can do $200, $500, or more than this amount it will be greatly appreciated, and we are excited to share the impact of these resources in the year to come.
With 300 living alumni, this can make a significant difference. We know this has been a tough year for you and your families. If you find yourselves in challenging situations yourself, please get in touch, and let’s find ways that our TUMG family can lift each other up.
To contribute today you can visit the Philadelphia Foundation website here: https://www.philafound.org/give-now/ (search for “Save Temple University Men’s Gymnastics” in the searchable menu section of the web page, or simply select “S” and scroll down).
In the days to follow you will receive two more forms of outreach that will add clarity to the meaningful impact that your philanthropy will have by contributing this year. Thank you!
