Featuring Our New

Organic Japanese Tea!

We have completely changed our Japanese tea menu. We have Sencha (green tea), Hojicha (roasted green tea), and Mint Sencha (mint flavored green tea) from Miyazaki Prefecture in Japan.
Every tea is served hot or cold brew.
We want you enjoy the authentic Japanese “DASHI” taste of our ramen, and our new tea goes very well with it. Please enjoy the pairing of our ramen with our tea!
Organic Japanese Tea from Miyazaki Prefecture
by Roots and Craft Tea Roasters

Roots and Craft brings the finest tea to San Francisco from Miyazaki prefecture, Japan. Miyazaki, located in the southern part of Japan is a great place to grow tea because it is blessed with a temperate climate, moderate rainfall, and fertile ground, making it an ideal environment for tea cultivation. Miyazaki is rich in natural beauty and clean, pure water.

All the tea is organic, single-source origin, and small batch. All of our teas are first flush and sourced directly from reliable growers.
Sencha (Green Tea)
Sencha is the most popular green tea in Japan, accounting for over 80% of the country’s tea production. It is characterized by its fresh scent, flavor and sweetness. Flavor notes include passion fruit, wild grass, and seaweed. Sencha has caffeine, but with our special cold brew there is much less caffeine.
Hojicha (Roasted Green Tea)
Hojicha, roasted green tea, is characterized by its rich and floral flavor and aroma.
Hojicha is caffeine-free, so it is good for children or pregnant women, even in the evening.
Mint Sencha (Mint Flavored Green Tea)
Mint Sencha is characterized by its refreshing flavor. Natural mint has a subtle sweetness. It is good to drink with our deserts, too.
Please enjoy our special teas!

We Now Serve
Quinoa Rice Bowls

Introducing our new quinoa rice bowl. This dish can be enjoyed by our vegan lovers and by everyone! This is made from steamed rice and organic red quinoa, cooked with our traditional kombu & shiitake dashi broth. This bowl goes well with our appetizers, gyoza, karaage, or fried oysters! Additionally, it is delicious with our ramen. Please try our rice and our ramen, too!
