Lambert Dolphin is a physicist residing in Silicon Valley, California who became a follower of Jesus Christ back in 1962. His interests are eclectic but he is approachable and enjoys many friendships. He’ll probably answer your email personally if you write him.
There are numerous reports today of people dying, leaving their bodies, visiting heaven (or hell)— and living to tell about it. Lambert has “been there, done that,” and has collected some thoughts about this subject.
A dozen Christian men discover they have been invited to meet in person with Jesus Christ for two hours each week. Jesus has made it known that He would like to personally teach these men. He wishes passionately to hear their requests, to enjoy their company, and to help each of them to see that they are in fact members one of another--and members of the very Body of Christ of which He, Jesus, is the Head. Jesus is an intimate, relationship-orientated and intense man--superficial conversation, playing religion, or merely pretending to know Him, do not sit well with Him at all!
Though there are millions of "professing" Christians in the world, only a handful of individuals in any given area are willing to "bother" with attending the meetings Jesus has invited them to participate in. The twelve (or so) real men under discussion in this short paper have dimly begun to see and experience a dimension of Christian experience that is exciting and transforming--far, far different than the usual Sunday morning at eleven o'clock church service the men have found often boring and of little value...

"Focus on My Rest"
In early January 2011 I felt the Lord telling me to be in His rest for that whole year... Little did I imagine the stories and profound consequences and benefits of listening to that one simple instruction. The most profound was that I was able to come to the awareness of profound areas of our Lord's suffering inside me which I had been masking with other enticements, concerns and normal activities.
"All change is painful, but so is not changing in the face of my daily perpetual shortcoming and glaringly obvious needs for deliverance. God has given me hands and a heart that others sometimes say are miraculous in going to the exact spot of and removing their physical, psychological and emotional pain. Where are Jesus hands visible today in your life removing suffering and granting new life? This is the question I must remember to ask myself often and much these days..."
Lawrence Hoppis is a Traditional Naturopath residing in Simi Valley, California. He and Lambert met back in the early days of the Wednesday Brothers of Thunder about 25 years ago. He is married to Kim and together they have a beautiful family with six children ages nine to twenty-nine, four still at home.
