The Professional Learning Collaborative's Think Tank Series
The Professional Learning Think Tank will welcome professional development providers to an open, year-long reflection on professional learning in the greater Pittsburgh region. Think Tank events will help providers, developers, and other professional learning leaders reconnect with their passion and explore innovation, equity, and collaboration in educator learning.
This series will help staff developers of all content areas and expertise connect and further their practice, in order to provide more engaging, relevant, and equitable professional learning to educators in our region.
Four sessions in the coming school year will each tackle a different theme:
Motivation: Reconnected us to the "why" of our work as providers of professional learning. (September 20, 12-3pm @ CoLab18)
Collaboration: Partnered on professional learning "small bets" with other workgroup members. (December 5, 12-3pm @ CKV Suites)
Inspiration: A virtual conversation about how professional learning leaders are staying inspired and innovative during COVID-19. (May 13, 2-4pm on Zoom)
Creation: Using what you've learned, help build the next iteration of a vision for the future of professional learning in our region. Respond to the Doodle poll with your availability.
