A Note from Allyce

Happy summer! I’m excited about all the professional learning happening around the region. I will be visiting as many sessions as I can this summer; let me know if I can add your PD to my list. See you on August 8 for a workgroup happy hour!

Introducing the Professional Learning Think Tank

Based on your feedback, the Professional Learning Collaborative will take a thematic approach for the 2019-20 school year.

Welcome to the Professional Learning Think Tank: A four-part, year-long reflection on professional learning in the Pittsburgh region. Designed for and by staff developers in the collaborative, the Think Tank will help you reconnect with your passion for professional development and explore innovation, equity, and collaboration in educator learning.

Join us at four sessions over the coming year to:

  • Get motivated and reconnect to the why of your work.
  • Collaborate with peers, tapping into seed funding and support from Remake Learning.
  • Get inspired by local leaders who are transforming student experience through innovative professional learning.
  • Create a vision for the future of professional learning by sharing resources and equity strategies.

More details coming soon. You can also learn more about the Think Tank at our August 8 happy hour.
