Teach us to Live Well
As another academic year is coming to a close, it makes me sometimes wonder, "What have I accomplished?" Psalm 90 highlights the reality that fulfillment in life isn't a matter of how much we do or have or how what we attain. Rather, what gives life purpose and meaning is a dynamic relationship with our Creator: "Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives" (Psalm 90:14, NIV). I can't think of a better way to end the 2021-2022 school year and look forward to a new one than to focus on Jesus. Living each day in the joy of God's love, we will be energized to live for him, to love him through service to others. We don't need to worry about the future, but can accept the gift of each day as a new opportunity to live well. ~ Debbie Muthersbaugh

"Oh! Teach us to live well!...Surprise us with love at daybreak." Psalm 90:12-14. (MSG)
