In Celebration of
Shobha Reddy's Life
The South Asian Heart Center staff and volunteers are deeply saddened at the loss of their beloved fitness trainer Shobha Reddy. She passed away on Thursday, Aug 15 courageously fighting her diagnosis of glioblastoma for the past three years. Shobha was 60.
Shobha had a special connection with the South Asian Heart Center and the mission to prevent heart disease and diabetes. She played a crucial role as part of the Center's initial Wellness Committee. She later trained many of our participants, encouraging them to engage in exercise and physical fitness, many for the first time in their lives.
We will remember her vibrant spirit, her youthful attitude, her charming smile, and her love of people. We honor her work and her enthusiasm for fitness, by dedicating Sevathon 2019 as a Walk For Shobha.
