Reminder: Election is Today! Tuesday, November 3 -
7am to 7pm at Doraville City Hall

Here's what you need to know for the election:
  • Polling for all Doraville residents who plan to vote in person on election day will take place at Doraville City Hall (3725 Park Ave, Doraville, GA 30340) on Tuesday, November 3rd from 7am to 7pm. Please bring a state or federally issued form of ID (Driver's License or ID card, Passport, etc)
  • Given potential mail delays, voters who have not already mailed their absentee ballots should plan to use the Doraville City Hall drop box or vote in person at Doraville City Hall from 7 AM to 7 PM
  • Firearms are not permitted within 150 feet of a polling location.
  • DeKalb has translated key materials into Spanish and Korean and are working to distribute this information to LEP communities. These documents are located all in the Stakeholder Toolkit, accessible via

Reminder: Doraville City Election

In addition to the state and Federal races, there is also a municipal election on the ballot this year to decide who will complete the remainder of Robert Patrick's term on the council. A candidate forum was held last month - the video of that forum can be viewed here. You can also see information about each candidate below:

Doraville Partnering with Lions Club to Bring Lighthouse Eye Glasses Clinic to our City

Doraville is partnering with the Lions club to bring a low cost eye glasses clinic to our city. There will be eye exams and glasses available. Costs vary based on a sliding income scale.

The event will take place on November 17th from 9am - 1pm at Honeysuckle Park (3037 Pleasant Valley Drive, Doraville, GA 30340).

If you cannot make this day, or something else comes up, you can schedule an appointment for a different day through The Lighthouse by texting "GALIGHTHOUSE to 474747.

Halloween Recap

On the afternoon and early evening of October 31, the City of Doraville held a socially distant drive-through trick or treat event for children in our community. There was a huge response, and we gave candy out to hundreds of children. I hope next year's event can be an even bigger success - hopefully kids will even be able to get out of their parents' cars!

A huge thank you to our Parks and Rec and Public Works department for putting this on. We also had community volunteers - including myself and Councilman Yeoman.
