New Committee Members Urgently Needed
At our most recent meeting, the Friends of Kalimna Park committee decided that the current committee, while still maintaining an interest in the park, no longer has the capacity to maintain an active Friends group.
Unless new and energetic committee members come forward before our AGM on 25th November, the group will go into hibernation for the foreseeable future.
What this means in practice is that the group will continue to exist as an incorporated body with the current executive, however we will not be meeting regularly and will not be undertaking any projects.
If you would like to prevent this from happening, please consider joining the committee. If there is enough interest in keeping the group going with a new executive the current committee would be happy to facilitate the change.
