Community Updates

The Gather Slack is the thriving hub of our community, where we brainstorm together, ask for and offer advice, and connect with each other. Sign up as a Gather member to join Slack.

  • Enterprise-level social tool: A Gatherer is comparing and contrasting Hootsuite, Falcon, Sprout, and Sprinklr, to name a few. Do you have experience with any of these? Share here!
  • Quitting a newsletter: Someone asks,”Does anyone here (have) experience with quitting a newsletter? What made you decide? What did you do with the e-mailbase?“ Join the conversation on Slack.

  • ONA scholarships: Emma Carew Grovum shares a funding opportunity for HBCU students to attend ONA20 - check it out.

  • Introduce yourself: We’ve a new #intros channel on Slack! Pop over there to (re-)introduce yourself and share what you geek out about, personally and professionally.

Hot Read: "Journalist Quits Kenosha Paper in Protest of Its Jacob Blake Rally Coverage" by By Marc Tracy at The New York Times. (This is the Gather community's most-shared story on Twitter this week. Look for other 'hot reads' in Friday's Nuzzel newsletter and in the #reads channel on the Gather Slack.)

Nominate a Gatherer!

We recently paused our Featured Members section to update and improve our system for featuring Gatherers to better reflect the wide-ranging experiences of our community.
