TCE ANNOUNCES YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL

The state’s largest health foundation today announced its President’s Youth Council (PYC), an advisory body of youth leaders to provide authentic youth perspective, thought leadership and candid feedback on The California Endowment’s strategies in pursuit of health and justice. Created by The Endowment’s President & CEO Robert K. Ross, MD, seven years ago, the 12-member PYC is a genuine effort to integrate youth input and decision making into The Endowment’s current 10-year Building Healthy Communities plan and its next strategic plan to launch in April 2021.

#ProtectFamilies

PROTECTING IMMIGRANT FAMILIES

The Protecting Immigrant Families (PIF) Campaign is dedicated to providing more community-facing materials on public charge to help better equip immigrants with what they need to know to make the best decision for themselves and for their families. On October 11, a nationwide injunction was issued to #ProtectFamilies from the #PublicCharge regulation. Using Medicaid, SNAP, and housing assistant won't count against immigration applications processed in the United States.

Immigrant families can keep going to the doctor, feeding their children, and keep a roof over their heads. Thank you PIF for your ongoing commitment to protect millions of families from the threat of the public charge regulation.
