Meal Delivery Request
We have two members of our congregation requesting meal delivery. If interested please contact Sheri DeGroat at (505)604-9410 or degroatsheri@gmail.com. 
Sandia Presbyterian Church has had a very active Prayer Chain for a number of years. Emails are sent to about 90 members of the Prayer Chain every time a request is received, and we pray daily for specified lengths of time for each prayer request we receive. That’s all we do. We pray! And although we hope you never have a reason to contact us with a prayer request, please remember that no request is too silly, too small, too not-worth-the-time. And the prayers are free! A prayer request we receive from you is treated confidentially, but if you are willing for your request to be shared with the Deacons Board, that may generate a card or a call from them with offers of assistance. Just let us know what you prefer! And by the way – if you would like to become a member of the Prayer Chain, send me an email and I will be happy to add you to the membership. We can always use more prayers!

Celebrating 5 Years with
Halecia Wimpy!
Congratulations to Halecia Wimpy who, this month, has completed 5 years of service and employment here at SPC! Halecia is our Youth Ministry Director and has used her experience and talents to develop relationships with our 6th through 12th graders and create programming to nurture their faith. We appreciate Halecia’s love for the Lord and for His Youth. If you have a chance, give her a “virtual high-five” or send her a word of encouragement! Thank you, Halecia! ALL ABOUT CHILDREN’S MINISTRY ZOOM MEETING: Two Options, Monday, January 25th at 4:00 OR Thursday, January 28th at 7:00.
If you want to know what we are thinking of and planning for children’s ministry for 2021, this meeting is for you.  If you’re a parent, it’s especially important for you to attend. If you’re interested in supporting children’s ministry in prayer, with help or in teaching, this would be a great opportunity for you to hear all about children’s ministry! CHILDREN’S CHURCH is Open Every Sunday for all ages of children.  Children from Babies – 4’s can go to their classroom in Exaltation Station. Children from Kindergarten – 5th Grade can go to the Chapel after the children’s message.

KIDS CLUB: Meeting Every Tuesday for Fun, Bible Study and Snack,  Ages Pre-K through 5th Grade are invited to join us, 4:00-5:30.

🤓😍TWEEN ZOOM HANGOUTS: February 21st and March 21st.  You’ll get a bag of surprise activities to open at the Zoom meeting.  So, we need an RSVP by the Wednesday prior so we can make sure you get a bag!!

KEEP UP WITH CHILDREN’S MINISTRY: You should be getting emails of At Home Sunday School Lessons or check us out on Facebook ‘Sandia Presbyterian Church Children’s Ministry’ or Instagram at ‘sandiapreschurchkidmin’.  Newly added are videos for 2-5 year old’s! Also, we are now sending out announcements and ‘at home’ activities on Mondays by email.

YOUTH PARENT MEETING THIS SUNDAY, January 24th from 2:30-5:30pm. Please RSVP, so we can set up the correct number of tables in Fellowship Hall (1 Family per Table).

SUNDAY IN-PERSON CHRISTIAN ED meets at both 9am and 11am AFTER the Children’s Message in the Youth Office with Halecia for a lesson and discussion on the same Scripture passage used in worship.

SUNDAY ONLINE CHRISTIAN ED will meet at twitch.tv/mandaelf for an Old Testament lesson with Mandy Self at 10:05am.

YOUTH PRAISE BAND will meet at 2:30pm on Sundays with Willy J! Youth singers, guitar/bass players, and drummers all welcome!

SUNDAY NIGHT LIVE! (YOUTH GROUP) is having an Open House for Parents!! We’ll meet in HYBRID format from 3:30-5:30pm this week due to the Parent Meeting from 2:30-3:30pm.

WORKIN’ ON WEDNESDAYS (WoW) are IN PERSON each Wednesday from 3-7pm. Join us for homework help or office volunteer hours!

WEDNESDAY CHECK-INS are on ZOOM each Wednesday from 7-8pm for Middle School and 8-9pm for High School! Hop on and say hello!

YOUTH LEADERSHIP TEAM will meet on Sunday, February 7th from Noon-2pm.

Gifts of Love Food Drive

Sandia Presbyterian Church’s food bank is requesting donations of non-perishable food items through February 14th. We support food ministries at The Storehouse, Cornerstone Church’s Free Store, Steelbridge, and Rio Grande Food Project. Collection bins are in Fellowship Hall and outside the gym. Monetary donations would also be greatly appreciated.
