If you would like to contribute to a monetary fund to honor Nancy Nerderman as she celebrates ten years of employment on July 27th and wish her well as she retires at the end of August, there is a card and a collection envelope at the receptionist desk. Contributions may be made through Sunday, July 25th, and will presented to Nancy at the staff meeting on Tuesday, July 27th. (Please make any checks payable directly to Nancy – not SPC.)
We celebrate our Board of Deacons, composed of 18 men and women who faithfully serve our congregation in numerous caring ministries: visitation, Grief Share, cards, meals and food pantry, new babies, transportation, Handy Helpers, Faith Community Nurses, funeral receptions, Prayer Chain, shawl ministry, and medical equipment. In addition, the Deacons’ Fund assists individuals with financial needs both within the congregation and, in special circumstances, within the community. All of these ministries function to glorify God on a daily basis by providing encouragement and care to our Christian family and friends. Thank you, Deacons, for your compassion, witness, and commitment to service. If you are in need of assistance, contact Dorma Seago, 505-856-1578.

Deacons coordinate the preparation of meals on a short-term basis during illness, after hospitalization, during family emergencies, and also for new parents. Contact Sheri DeGroat, 604-9410, or Anita Muscarella, 823-1022.
Deacons offer confidential support for short-term situations & for longer- term needs.
We supplement pastoral care and coordinate with other SPC ministries.
