Dear friends,

Beautiful fall is just ahead, and with it comes Ekone's Barbed Wire Ball!  September 29 will be a ranchy extravaganza of Ekone Magic, food, friends, music, celebration and support of this place and its work.  Here's a Video Teaser, and here's your call to action:

1.  Come!  First and foremost, please get it on your calendar.  This event is worth planning around, skipping soccer practice, rescheduling that family gathering (just bring em with).  Get all the juicy details HERE and buy advance tickets HERE (tickets are 10% cheaper in advance!)

2.  Pitch in!  It take a small army (about 55 volunteers) to make the Ball a smooth and optimally fun hootenanny.  We need help with cooking, dishes, set-up, clean-up, decorations, parking, registration, bartending, kids activities, auction wrangling, music, and carrying heavy things from one place to another.  It'll be fun! (Really!)  Email to volunteer.

3.  Donate auction items!  We're still collecting Unique Goods and Exciting Experiences for our favorite shopping spree of the year.  Are you craftsperson?  Do you have a cottage at the coast?  Do you rack up air miles?  Do you have a skill or service to share?  Or know someone who does?  Please help us make our auction a success.  Email your offer or idea to Jodie,

4.  Bake cake!  Or pie, or cupcakes, or cookies, or truffles....  The cakewalk is always a highlight of the Ball, with sweet rewards provided by inspired guests and friends.  Please email Jodie, if you have a sweet treat to offer!

We're so looking forward to our favorite reunion and hoedown of the year, and hope to see you there.  💛

With gratitude and anticipation from the whole Ekone crew.
