Dear friends,

What a weekend.  Nearly 300 people turned out for the Barbed Wire Ball.  It was epic.  We danced with horses.  We shared our hearts in Council.  We rode ponies, cuddled baby chicks and got fabulous face paintings.  We ate such delicious food.  We cakewalked ferociously.  We walked through the golden oaks to visit Rock Creek Canyon.  We heard so much beautiful music.  We danced the night away in celebration of community and stewardship.

And we raised $62,305 for the future of Ekone Ranch.

This is the total of the live auction and the "Show of Hands" paddle raise, and doesn't even include the silent auction, gate and bar sales, which cover event overhead.

And this was AFTER having exceeded our bottom-line goal of raising $100,000 in September.

We are floored, humbled, and profoundly grateful for this unprecedented outpouring of support.  Thank you, thank you, thank you, for your belief in Ekone and the work that takes place on this land.

That's simply all we can say for now.

With love from the home crew at Ekone Ranch.
P.S.
