| Jim Phillips is a graphic artist best known for his skateboard, rock, and surf art. His signature “Woody” illustration and surf art appeared in many surfing publications during the 1960s, and he has created rock posters for the likes of The Doors and Jimi Hendrix. In 1985, Jim created the iconic ‘Screaming Hand’ graphic while at Santa Cruz Skateboards, which is arguably one of the most recognisable graphics in the world and has been reproduced by countless artists over the years.
