TODAY is Giving Tuesday Now, a new global day of giving to create a wave of generosity and action to help nonprofits affected by Covid-19.
GoFundMe will match gifts to campaigns that raise at least $1000 from ten or more donors. Funds are limited so PLEASE GIVE early and often. Thank you.
Go Grey in May: Post a photo or video of your grey roots on your social media tagged #GoGreyInMay and #OurBrainBank and nominate a friend to do the same. And if you're bald, or are already rocking the grey, we want to see you too - add a grey scarf or hat, whatever works for you. It's the ice-bucket challenge for GBM!
OurBrainBank Founder, Jessica Morris, is featured in the latest episode of The Simplicity Principle podcast, sharing the mic with Professor Sir Mark Walport, the UK government's Head of Research and Innovation. Jessica talks to host Julia Hobsbawm —trustee of the OurBrainBank UK board — about how simplicity can cut through the complexity of science and medicine. Listen HERE.

The NBTS's annual event, Head to the Hill, launched virtually on Sunday. Today, as delegates, we tweeted and wrote letters to our senators urging them to increase funding for brain cancer research. We also spoke to fellow advocates on video chats. Kudos to the everyone at the NBTS for this important event — and making it work virtually. We were so pleased to participate.
