2020 came in like a lion, and out… like a lion. Perhaps the COVID-19 vaccine will help usher 2021 in like a lamb. I’m grateful there is light at the end of this dark tunnel of fear and isolation.
People living with GBM are experts at dealing with fear and isolation — but there's no vaccine for GBM.
I started OurBrainBank to help GBM patients feel more in control and less alone. More than 600 people have joined our study and we support thousands more in our community. This is fantastic, but we need to reach more people.
We're asking for your help.
In January, it’ll be five years since my glioblastoma diagnosis. Five is a significant number in GBM — only five percent of people living with GBM survive more than five years. In recognition of this, we launched the #GiveUsFive campaign.
As we bid good riddance to 2020 and cautiously welcome 2021, please consider a year-end gift
— $5, $55, $555 (or whatever you like) or tell 5 people about OurBrainBank — so that we can continue and expand our efforts in the New Year.
Thank you and happy holidays!
