District 100's next promotion is Thrive with Five! This promotion challenges clubs to add five new members and obtain five distinguished club points (DCPs) by December 31st. Clubs who reach both of these milestones will receive be invited to attend an exclusive workshop with Toastmasters 2005 World Champion of Public Speaking Lance Miller.
It's Not Too Late! Renew Your Membership Today
 
If you haven't yet renewed your membership, you can still do so! Renewing your Toastmasters membership will demonstrate your commitment to building a better you. It will provide a forum to practice your public speaking skills and build leadership traits. Also, it will retain access to the Pathways learning experience which allows you to leverage over 300 practical workplace skills. Talk to a club officer to renew today!
Are you ready to further develop your promotion skills and put them in action? Join Past District 1 Director Julie Broady as she presents the "Pay it Forward" workshops! These sessions are designed to build your confidence and toolbox in starting a new Toastmasters club, including identifying new club leads, reaching out to the right people, recruiting members, and launching a club! Each Saturday session starts at 1:00pm.
Meet District 100's Newest Qualified Speaker
 
Congratulations to Charlotte Naugle, Ph.D., DTM on becoming District 100's newest Qualified Speaker! Charlotte is the district's Program Quality Director and a past District 12 Director. She has been a Toastmaster since 2004. Her speaking interest areas include personal development, communications, mentoring, and living abroad. Outside of Toastmasters, Charlotte has been a teacher, principal, and professor both here and abroad. She holds a Ph.D. in Conflict Management and enjoys playing piano, sailing, diving, and travelling. 

The Qualified Speaker designation is the highest speaking designation that a district can bestow upon a member. A Qualified Speaker is a member of the Speakers Bureau Committee and expected to speak on behalf of the District when asked (as schedules permit) and represent the District and Toastmasters International policies and goals. Expand Your Toastmasters Knowledge!

Please join us on Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 10am and 1pm for our monthly Toastmasters District 100 Learning Lab. We have one hour sessions in three experiences to help you and your club thrive as you continue to work towards your personal and your club's goals.

Member Experience

• Know Your Audience: 10am - 11am

• Introduction to Pathways: 11am - 12pm

• Pathways and Beyond: How to Organize Your Speech: 12pm – 1pm

 

Club Experience

• Building Relationships and Rapport: 10am - 11am

• Beyond the Club: 11am – 12pm

• Lively, Interesting, and Productive Club Programs: 12pm - 1pm

 

Leadership Experience

• Developing Leaders – Resolving Conflict – Part 2: 10am - 11am

• Journey to DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster): 11am – 12pm

• How to be a Super Club Sponsor, Mentor or Coach: 12pm - 1pm
