Niagara-on-the-Lake Public Library Newsletter

January 2023

From Cathy's Desk

Welcome to 2023! I hope you had time to rest, reflect and revel over the holidays. This year is a busy one for the library as we prepare to welcome a new library board and get to know our new town council. The town will announce the opening of applications for the 2023 to 2027 library board early this month and we encourage you to consider this opportunity. For more information about library governance and what it takes to be an effective board member, please contact me at csimpson@notlpl.org.

2022 was another interesting, informative and engaging year at the library and we’d like your take on it for our next year in review video. Share your thoughts in writing or video and let us know why you love the library. Submissions for our 2022 year in review video can be made here.

Tech Tutoring is drop-in this January and we also have two tech classes scheduled; Smartphone Basics and Tablet Basics. David Hemmings is back with Genetic Genealogy and so is our Fireside Reads book club. Keep reading for more details about this month’s programs and new titles.
