Coronavirus Update

We have been working over, under and through this coronavirus pandemic. The safety of our veterans is of the upmost priority and we cannot wait to resume hosting our retreats. To ensure the healthy and safety of our service members, veterans and their families and our volunteers, we have developed a plan consistent with the CDC guidelines to adhere to their stringent sanitizing procedures. When we host the first “post pandemic” retreat, we will be limiting the number of attendees so that all guests will have their own rooms as well as limiting the number of volunteers on deck.

We have continuously been in contact with many of our veterans to make sure that their needs are being met during these unusual times. We have been working very closely with our local homeless veteran community by providing them with lunches during the Pandemic. We are also working on “creative ways” to help move our programs forward as we connect and help financially support other veteran organizations that are struggling through these difficult times.

We want to thank all of those who continue to support Renewal Coalition and our veterans as we work through this Pandemic together.
We want to Congratulate our very own Chef Erik Pettersen with EVO Italian for winning Guys Grocery Games on the Food Network! We cannot
wait to see what challenge you will master next!

Thank You Dive Bar

During these troubling times we have been extremely blessed to have such a wonderful community ready to step up and fulfill our needs. The Dive Bar has been working very closely with us and the community to ensure that our Homeless Veterans have been fed. They also raised over $3500 for Renewal Coalition during their “give back” week. This money will be used to further assist our homeless veteran population.

Harry & his staff have been working around the clock with our community to keep people fed during this Pandemic. They have always held Renewal Coalition and our veterans close to their hearts. They have made a generous donation to our organization.

We are so happy to report that Doug and his service dog, Delta are doing so well! Delta has become a part of the family and has been helping Doug while out and about.

Words cannot express how truly thankful we are to the Admirals Cove Foundation for awarding Renewal Coalition with $30,000. The Admirals Cove Foundation has always supported our wounded and ill service members, veterans and their families. They are always ready to help us in times of need.

Upcoming Events

We are looking forward to hosting 3 combat injured veterans this month so that they may find their perfect service dog match through our partners, Furry Friends. They will be meeting several dogs to see which dog will best help them with their individual needs. Our veterans will return home and Summit, with TidalK9, will begin individually training these dogs to help ensure that they will be ready to help change the lives of these veterans forever!

Wish List
We would like to begin collecting cotton masks to include in our “Welcome Bags” for those veterans who will be attending our upcoming scheduled retreats. If you enjoy sewing and would like to sew some masks for our guests please let us know!
