Hello Everybody!

Thank you all for your continued prayer and financial support of my ministry to Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons! God is using me to reach many people with the good news of Jesus.

I will be traveling to the World Parliament of Religions in Toronto from November 1-7, 2018. This will be my second time to attend this event which will host over 10,000 persons of faith from 80 nations and over 200 unique faith spiritual backgrounds. “Click here”

Several of you have asked about some of the discrepancies between Christianity and other religions.

Deity of God: Mormon

Christians believe that God has always been God and always will be God. Joseph Smith’s teaching in the Book of Mormon seems to agree with this. “For I know that God is not a partial God, neither a changeable being; but he is unchangeable from all eternity to all eternity” (Moroni 8:18, Book of Mormon, 1830).

Unfortunately, Latter Day Saints (LDS) leaders teach otherwise.

  1. A few months prior to Smith’s death he was recorded as saying, “God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens! That is the great secret” (The King Follett Sermon, 1844).

  2. Another excerpt states, “Here, then, is eternal life—to know the only wise and true God; and you have got to learn how to be Gods yourselves, and to be kings and priests to God, the same as all Gods have done before you…” (The King Follett Sermon, 1844) (Jonathon, how do I do a hyperlink where it says “click here” and it goes to this link:

  3. As man is God once was, and as God is man may be” (Snow’s Couplet, LDS Prophet).

So, we see that in 1830 Smith taught that God has been eternally God while the 1844 Smith and subsequent prophet is radically different. Has God been eternally God or was he once a man that had to obtain Godhood? Click here

Deity of God: Jehovah’s Witnesses

Christians believe that God and Jesus are deities and can forgive sins. Mark 2:10-12 states that Jesus forgave the sins of a paralytic man and the crowd was astonished that anyone, other than God the Father, could forgive the sins of another. Yet, Jesus said, “But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” (New International Version).

Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that Jesus is the Archangel Michael, the greatest creation of Jehovah God, but that He is not deity; yet in Mark 2:7 it says that only God can forgive sins. Mathew 9:1-8 says that God gave Jesus the authority to forgive sins and yes, my friends, Jesus is God!

I was able to discuss this concept with two Jehovah’s Witnesses. They both saw that Jesus was given the authority by the Father, yet they stopped short of saying that Jesus is God.
