January: With the start of a new year we have decided to start the year off with the topic Caring as our Character Trait!
Each group will discuss about what it means to be caring and come up with some ideas on how we can be caring towards others.

Here is a link called "What Makes Kids Care? "

New Field trip Information
Field trips for the school year will fall into two categories.
1. Pre-paid field trips
2. Typical field trips

Prepaid field trips will not be able to be canceled once the sign up period is completed.  If you sign up for this non-school day with a prepaid field trip and end up not coming you will still be charged the non-school day rate and field trip fee.

Typical field trips can be cancelled one week prior to the day of the field trip.  If you cancel at least one week prior you will not be charged for the field trip or at the non-school day rate.  If the non-school day is a contracted day a comp day can be requested. Cancellations with less than a one week notice will be charged the non-school day rate and field trip cost.

Winter is here with the potential Early Emergency Dismissal from schools. Which means with Kids CO if school is closed on a day your child is contracted for then your child may come to kids co, but unfortunately if school closes on a day your child is not contracted for then your child can not attend Kids CO due to numbers and staff.
PRESCHOOL NEWS

With winter finally here we ask that the preschoolers bring a jacket, hats, snow pants, boots, and waterproof mittens to wear while playing out in the snow!

Please remember to bring your child a morning and afternoon snack! What we have found that works great is a giant baggie with prepackaged snacks that stays in their lockers!
