...what's your connection to the earth?
The land and waters we now share is the ceded land of Ottawa, Chippewa, and Potawatomi tribes. By acknowledging this, we also recognize the connection that exists between the land and water and the people who share it.

GO•REC seeks to empower current and future generations to care by creating opportunities for them to connect with the land and water. To teach responsible use, Leave No Trace -- an outdoor industry standard for minimizing impact -- is a good place to start.

GO•REC is a partner Organization and LNT ethics are at the core of our efforts. By teaching our patrons how to make decisions that protect the outdoors spaces they access, we're working to steward not just this space, but every place they go.

Are you aware...?

LNT has been shown to reduce human impact by up to 58%. And LNT education opens the door to further stewardship. Click here to register!

Do you paddle?

Last year, Jamie completed aquatic invasive prevention training. This year all GO•REC staff will. Click here to become a Michigan Paddle Steward!

Get your kids outside?

GOREC and Norte are partnering to get teens on bikes, outdoors, and teach them LNT land and water stewardship.
