Happy July 4th! 

We are looking forward to the parade of boats and fun on the lake this Saturday. If you're not already aware, the Lord family is providing Rennie Lake’s fireworks celebration at dusk! …and GO•REC is happy to lend our wooden deck pontoon to the celebration. We hope every neighbor can come out to watch.

If your own vantage of the eastern middle of the lake is not the best, come watch from our shores! While the general public is asked to leave at sundown, we will keep our property open for neighbors to come watch the show. Come by land or water, please use our contactless check in, and remain at least 6 feet from other households. No fireworks are permitted at GO•REC, and please don’t trample the riparian areas. We’ll put up some signage to help.

We owe you an explanation...

We recognize the blue tower was a piece of the Rennie Lake history and landscape. Unfortunately, the tower was becoming increasingly hazardous and GO•REC was bearing the weight of liability. It's no one's fault - it was just a structure whose time had come. And while the tower will be missed, please know that we are planning new signage for the board around its base that will depict the tower and its history. ...our new outdoor live streams! At 11:30am each Monday through Saturday, GO•REC staff goes live on Facebook with advice, information, and hands-on experiences on a variety of outdoor living skills.

At 8pm each Thursday, you can watch Bonfire & Brews - a GO•REC campfire, brewed beverages, and a reflective chat with other outdoor professionals.  Find them on Zoom and Fb Live. Check them all out wherever you watch or listen online, including Youtube and Spotify.
