Check Out Our New Playground!
Please stop by our Oakbrook campus and see our playground improvements. We are still in the process of updating and gathering new items, but we are enjoying our new fenced in area, new sandbox, standing fairy garden, and ball drops. Soon we will have two additional sandboxes and a tricycle track.

This year, all DPG mtgs. begin at 8:45, to allow travel time between campuses.  There will be an informal "social time" before the meeting officially begins.  Coffee & bagels will be served.  Our agenda will include the events such as the Tailgate Party & Picnic, Monster Mash, Box Tops, Staff &Teacher Appreciation and much more!  To join by conference call, dial (877) 402-9753 & use the code:  5240270#

Community Gathering
Our first Community Gathering will be held Friday, Sept. 14 at 8:45 - 9:15 a.m. in the school gym.  Please join us as we celebrate and welcome all of our students to the new school year!

E-STEM at Daycroft
The students are working on how to work with a partner that was assigned to them and speak kindly when discussing their strategies, how to follow directions and celebrate creative differences. They are also working on how to be "OK" with something that doesn't work out or falls down.
Did you know...
One of our teachers climbed the mountains in China this summer...many traveled Up North with friends and family...another took tap lessons...another fed giraffes while another looked for special rocks & glass on the beach... and collectively they read a lot of books!
Our teachers are AMAZING!

Support DPG!

The Daycroft Parent Guild has kicked off the new school year with its Welcome (Back) Coffee at both campuses and has already started planning a number of events for 2018-19.  To see a list of what's planned, please check out the DPG Events flyer.

In order for these events to take place, DPG depends upon the support of all Daycroft parents.  Therefore, DPG asks each Daycroft family to contribute $50 to help pay for DPG events for the current school year.  Please read and fill out the DPG Annual Donation form and bring it in the school office at either campus.

There are also many ways to become involved and support the school, whether you prefer to decorate for Monster Mash or bring food for the Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week.  To find out more about DPG volunteer opportunities this year, read and fill out the Volunteer Pledge Form and turn it in to the school office as well.

Thank you in advance for your support and enthusiasm for Daycroft and the Parent Guild in the new school year.

We’re kicking off the school year with a family tailgate party and picnic at the Oakbrook campus! All Daycroft families, staff and alumni are invited to a day filled with games, face painting, and Kona Ice. The playground will be open for children to play.

When: Saturday, Sept. 15 from 12:00-2:00 PM (prior to the Michigan - SMU game)

Where: Daycroft Oakbrook Campus; 100 Oakbrook Dr. Ann Arbor

What to bring:

  • Your own picnic lunch and drinks (DPG will also provide a few snacks)

  • A picnic blanket or chairs

  • A few dollars for Kona Ice (shaved ice)

Where to park: Parking fills up fast near the stadium on game days. You can park along the streets near Daycroft, or find parking at Briarwood mall (about ½ mile walk)

What to wear: Not a Michigan fan? That’s OK! Sport your favorite team’s gear.

Don’t like football? That’s OK! There’s still plenty of fun to be had.

We look forward to bringing the whole Daycroft community together at this event!

NEW Toddler Program - Welcome Class of 2034!

Welcome to our littlest students, ages 18-33 months, in our newest classroom, the Acorn Room.

“The toddlers are enjoying getting to know one another and are adjusting to life at school. We are learning names and working alongside our peers. We have all been enjoying our renovated playground and eating lunch together!”
Rachel Montgomery - Toddler Teacher
