Kōrerorero April 11th

Kia ora circus whanau, 

So, things have changed a bit.. for everyone. We want to give all our circus people a chance to discuss what's going on for you, what you need, and to gauge what possible assistance could come from the community. 

 

We’ll be facilitating a broad industry discussion, a kōrerorero, next Saturday 11th April, between 1 and 3:30pm.

The afternoon is designed for anyone to be able to join the discussion at any time with the key concerns of each grouping being focussed on at the following times:

  • 1:00pm Circus companies & organisations

  • 1:30pm Professional circus artists & tutors

  • Break 2:00pm

  • 2:30pm Recreational circus practitioners & participants

  • 3:00pm Community/Social participants, tutors & organisations

Uiui / Interview Series

Up next, 14th April, is Thomas Hinz (postponed from our wee technical hitch yesterday), an expert and community leader in social / applied circus.

Thomas will be going live on the ANZCA facebook page 4pm next  (Tuesday 14th). To be involved, comment your questions for Thomas on ANZCA's facebook, or fire them at him in the live chat.

If you don’t know him already, Thomas has been the Creative Director of Circability (Auckland) since 2012. Originally from Germany, he began his work in NZ by founding Circus Kumarani (Northland) in 2002.
