You are Invited...
A Free "Yoga for Better Sleep" hour...

This last year so many people have found their quality and quantity of sleep disrupted.  Come and enjoy an hour of gentle, soothing yoga finishing with a deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep).  It's simple, effective and (ideally) you can quietly slip into bed for a restful night. 

Drawing on the wisdom of restorative yoga, we use just a few postures (asanas) and hold them for 5+ minutes, with support, allowing the muscles, nerves, tendons and fascia to soften and release.  Our breath soothes.  The mind is directed to follow the breath, or an inner sound, which slows the constant chatter.  Releasing into the bolster, pillow or cushion allows us to surrender to the present moment.  Rest. Relax. Restore. 

This is via Zoom, and you're welcome to do this on your bed in your PJ's.  

THURSDAY APRIL 1st from 8pm - 9pm.  Email me to book your place, and I'll send the Zoom link the day before.  

Feel welcome to invite your friends (they will have to email me too so I know who's coming).

It is free - although if you would like to make a small donation (the cost of a coffee or glass of wine?) I have been raising funds for Crises, the homeless charity this month.  There's a link here - but that really is optional.

What you will need:-

A yoga or exercise mat if you have one - you can also do this practice on your bed too.  A yoga bolster OR pillow and large towel (we'll make our own)  and a cushion might be helpful too.  A light weight blanket for the relaxation.   Wear loose, comfortable clothing or PJ's.
