Georgia: Case Regarding IFC Investment in Hydropower Cascade Project Moves to Investigation
After the completion of a compliance appraisal concerning an IFC-supported hydropower project in Georgia, the case is moving to the investigation phase (AGL-01/Makhalakidzeebi). CAO concluded that an investigation is warranted regarding concerns raised by complainants related to groundwater flows and biodiversity impacts.
