Case Highlights

Jordan: CAO Concludes Dispute Resolution Processes Regarding Wind and Solar Energy Projects. Cases Transferred to Compliance.

CAO has concluded two dispute resolution processes in Jordan relevant to the renewable energy sector— regarding the Masdar Baynouna-01/East Amman and Daehan Wind Power Co-01/Tafila cases. After several joint sessions and bilateral meetings, parties did not reach agreements to address concerns related to the complaints raised. Both cases have been transferred to CAO’s Compliance function for appraisal.

CAO’s dispute resolution conclusion report on IFC’s Masdar Baynouna solar energy project is available in Arabic and English. Full case details regarding this case are available here.

Additionally, the conclusion report regarding the IFC-supported Daehan wind power project is also available in Arabic and English. Get more details regarding this case here.
