Ukraine: Case Regarding IFC-supported Poultry Project Transferred to Compliance

CAO has concluded a dispute resolution process regarding an IFC-supported poultry producing project in Ukraine. As a final agreement was not reached, the case has been transferred to CAO's Compliance function for appraisal. Pakistan: Case Regarding IFC Investment in Hydroelectric Project Moves to Investigation  

CAO has initiated a compliance investigation of IFC related to the Karot-02 and Karot-03 cases in Pakistan following the completion of a compliance appraisal process. The investigation will respond to labor concerns raised in relation to a hydroelectric power project supported by IFC. Parties to CAO Dispute Resolution Process in Guinea Seek Expert to Monitor Impact of Blasting Activities
Parties in Guinea participating in a CAO dispute resolution process to address a complaint related to a bauxite mining project (Guinea: CBG-01/ Sangaredi) have agreed to hire an independent expert to monitor the impacts of blasting activities and recommend remedial measures. The terms of reference (ToR) for a blasting expert is available in English and French, with applications due February 14, 2022. Click here for full case details.
Kenya: Third Case Regarding IFC’s Investment in Bridge Schools on Pause
At the request of the company, CAO has paused a third case related to IFC's investment in Bridge International Academies in Kenya, awaiting the conclusion of an ongoing dialogue process related to the second Bridge case
