Why I Kill Color Wheels & You Should Too
What do I have against color wheels?  For the record, I like color and rainbows.  To grow, we must be prepared to let go of the things we once found useful but now hold us back. Kill your color wheels is a reminder to focus on what's important.  I hope you’ll enjoy my latest blog post celebrating our 1 year anniversary and 300 subscriber milestone!
Assessment Is Not A Bad Word
Assessment is not a bad word. Assessment is simply about value.  What we assess is what we look for and what we look for is what we value.  What values are you promoting in your classroom assessment? And should effort be something we assess?
Guest of The Art Class Curator
I was again honored this year to be invited by Cindy Ingram, the Art Class Curator, to share my thoughts on art and learning for her new podcast!  I loved chatting with Cindy and I think you'll enjoy it too!  Thanks for giving it a listen!
My First Video Presentation
This summer I presented my first video presentation "Authentic Assessment in the Studio-Based Classroom" at the Summer 2018 Online Conference brought to you by the Art of Ed!  While the conference is over, but you can still access all of this year's presentations if you purchase a conference After Pass.  If you prefer to wait, I'll be able to share the video early next year!
Guest of Art Ed Radio
I'm honored to have been asked recently to share my thoughts on teaching art & creativity by Tim Bogatz, host of Art Ed Radio, and to now be included among so many world-class and inspiring art educators and creativity leaders that I've looked up to for years! Thank you for giving the podcast a listen!
