National Travel and Tourism Week: May 3 - 9

As Georgia’s tourism industry continues to deal with the extraordinary challenges presented by COVID-19, we’re incredibly inspired by the selflessness and creativity shown by all of our industry partners who continue to demonstrate the “Spirit of Travel.”

To honor National Travel and Tourism Week, we salute all of Georgia’s attractions, retail shops, restaurateurs, hotel and lodging properties, tour companies, destination marketers, and every business whose work supports our state’s vital tourism industry. Your resiliency, dedication, and contributions are essential to supporting local communities and the state’s economy.

This year, more than ever, Georgia’s tourism industry must unite together, support each other, and remind everyone that even through the most difficult times, the spirit of travel cannot be broken.

We recognize the road to recovery will be challenging, and perhaps long, but we are in this together. And, when the time is right, we’ll be ready to work together and welcome visitors back to communities throughout Georgia once again.

Please join all of us at Explore Georgia in saluting our friends and colleagues across Georgia’s tourism industry during National Travel and Tourism Week, and beyond.
