Hey Co-op Members!

We're excited to announce that we've raised over $54,000, which means that we only have $6,000 left until we reach our goal of $60,000. We have also hit the milestone of 200 members! We are super grateful for the support, it has brought us incredibly close to our initial fundraising goal and has surpassed our membership goal of 150. The dream of bringing a climbing gym to the Mount Washington Valley is nearly a reality!

We are also excited to announce that, the MWVCC is officially  transitioning into a federally and state recognized 501(c)3 non-profit! We hope our existence here in the valley will foster strong community bonds and facilitate access and equity in the climbing world.
At our next Board Meeting this Thursday, March 4th @ 6:30 pm we will be reviewing our Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation and amending them as necessary to better align with our updated mission and pillars. Members are always welcome to drop in on our meetings to listen and have a say. Additionally, as we get more used to being a non-profit, financial and operational information will have a home and be archived on our website.

The first 15 minutes of the board meeting will be designated for the discussion on new bylaw and articles of incorporation amendments. If you would like be part of the conversation click the Google Meeting link below:

So what is next?

Updates

• A build out plan is being drafted and finalized.
• The board is exploring and training on our membership software system and preparing to install the system.
• A team of board members are getting ready to launch an online auction with some amazing items. 
• As a team we are making efforts to draw in more donations for our start up and build out goals.
