GRADUATING SENIOR SPOTLIGHTS
A THREE-PART SERIES:
 

Our Stunning Soph



We are so excited to celebrate our competitive graduating seniors who have persevered through all the challenges and demands of their high school’s strenuous scholastic and demanding requirements, while successfully balancing the commitments of the Competitive FOCUS Dance Program. Please enjoy this three-part series where we highlight our three graduating Company Seniors to share a glimpse into the amazing people they are and will continue to be as they pursue this next amazing chapter in their lives.

Sophia Chung. She started dancing at age 9 and joined us at FOCUS at age 9.

Favorite FOCUS Memory:
“So many but either the dressing room decorating & games at the Barclay during Concert, or late night “Till Now” rehearsals with Wesley Willard 🐶”

“I started out at FOCUS as a Universal Dancer who none of the teachers knew, scared to take a Jazz 2 & looking up to the Senior Company. Now 9 years later to be so close to the faculty, comfortable at the studio, & a Senior Company member myself makes all the commitment & time at FOCUS so worth it. I’ll miss every memory & person I met at FOCUS, but will always be grateful because it made me who I am today.” — @tissophiaa 

Sophia will be spending 8 years in Providence; 4 years at Brown University and 4 years at Alpert Medical School in a combined Medical Program to fulfill her goal of becoming a doctor 🤩

Sophia also plans to join a Dance/Theater Program at Brown 😍

Our stunning Sophia is bright, responsible, loyal, and gorgeous inside & out — she works incredibly hard, gracefully excels at everything she pursues, & truly takes care of those she loves. We are so proud of her & will miss her very much. WE LOVE YOU SOPH 💕

FOCUS has received MANY inquiries and we are excited to announce that we are launching our new Competition Starter Program for 4–6-year-olds! 
 
We are so excited for a chance to allow your littles to dip their toes into the competition world, giving them a chance to compete, perform and train under our wonderful faculty team!
