As Dakshini starts planning for upcoming year’s activities, the Executive Committee would like to give special attention to our in-house artists and talented kids who participated during our recent Saraswati Pujo.
The evening of Saraswati Pujo on January 28th started off with an inaugural program by Annika Chatterjee, Shreyan Chatterjee, Purnata Acharjee and Shirom Mukherjee. Right after, our Dakshini community kids got ready to showcase their talents surrounded by friends, family and fans. Ankur Dube Talent Show held at every Saraswati Puja at Dakshini has helped children of all ages shake off their inhibitions and perform in front of a wide range of audience showcasing their skills and talents. The talent show was organized and delivered by Sampurna Dube. The air echoed with the tunes of instrumental music, traditional and modern Bengali songs, and vibrated with the rhythms of dance steps of our younger members. Around 25 kids of all ages participated in the talent show. The pictures speak for themselves.
The evening ended with a comedy play written and directed by Rajasri Chakraborty. Funny bones got tickled and the audience soaked in the humor and laughed out loud as the Social Distancing Party actors and crew members rocked the stage.
Dakshini is proud to house such talented members who come in with pride, deliver with elegance and walk out with a huge applause and praise. Many more to come!
