This special bulletin outlines Dakshini's efforts to bring you a safe Durga Pujo and how you can help.
The CDC recommends full vaccination for everyone eligible. The Torrance Unified School District also requires vaccination for anyone inside its school premises. Therefore, Dakshini expects ALL eligible patrons to arrive fully vaccinated, or with proof of negative PCR test results from the past 72 hours.
For the safety of everyone attending, Dakshini also reminds you of the following:
-- self-declare you are vaccinated at the registration, we trust your honor code
-- wear masks anywhere indoors like in the auditorium or the Pujo hall
-- avoid removing masks outdoors except when reasonable accommodations are necessary
-- wash your hands and use hand-sanitizers wisely, they will be available all across the venue
We hate to say this, and will miss your presence dearly, but please
-- DO NOT attend if you have experienced COVID-like symptoms, or came in contact with someone who has in the last 7 days
-- DO NOT attend if you arrived from international travel in the last 3-5 days
Dakshini is doing all it can to ensure the health and safety of everyone attending the Durga Pujo. In spite of this, unfortunately, Dakshini CANNOT guarantee you will not be exposed to COVID-19 during your visit. We hope everyone understands the risks of attending a large gathering and follows the rules, however, Dakshini CANNOT be held liable for non-compliance by those who visit.
You are the eyes and ears of Dakshini, please bring any non-compliance to our notice as soon as you see one.
Looking forward to a safe Durga Pujo with you!
