We are following the requirements set out by our licensing bodies, based on WHO guidelines, to minimize potential exposure and transmission of COVID-19. The detailed document of our re-start plan is available on our website. Please read this lengthy, but important, document before your next appointment. We will go over the highlights and any questions you may have, when we call you the day before your appointment for a COVID-19 pre-screening and informed consent.
All the required precautions are in place to reduce the chances of exposure to COVID-19, however these risks are impossible to completely eliminate. Physical distancing is not possible during a treatment, so the possibility of potential viral transmission must be considered and the risks weighed against any benefit gained by choosing to come in for your treatment.
You are required to cancel your appointment if you are experiencing even the mildest symptoms such as fever, or a new headache, cough, or shortness of breath. We also encourage you to cancel if you simply do not feel comfortable coming in. Cancellation fees are being waived at this time, and we will find you a new appointment as soon as you feel comfortable - so you don’t have to worry about being put on the waiting list.
