NEW SITE: MALTHOUSE FARM, BENNER LANE, WEST END

We have recently completed the purchase of a site in West End, Woking; a premium Surrey location with Detailed Planning Permission for 95 homes. 

We intend to build the site in line with the existing Planning Permission, comprising of 57 private units and 38 affordable units with an area of green open space.

We were excited to secure this exceptional site, bidding against stiff competition from large PLC housebuilders.  We were successful because of our reputation for delivery.

‘SUMMERSWOOD’ IN IFIELD - SALES LAUNCH

We are delighted that our new site, Summerswood in West Sussex, has now launched to the market.

Summerswood is close to the popular historic village of Ifield and only an hour away from central London (just 10 minutes from Gatwick Airport).  This semi-rural, strategically located site represents the type of plot we want to find more of.

HAMPTON GREEN CONSULTATION

Martin Grant Homes and Harcourt Developments are together preparing a Planning Application to create a high quality residential development at Hampton Green, Northampton.  Our current proposals include the creation of up to 525 homes on land allocated for a sustainable urban extension by the West Northamptonshire Joint Planning Unit. 

We recently completed a consultation on the site and welcomed great interest from stakeholders and the local community in our proposals.  The consultant team is currently in the final stages of preparing their technical reports and documentation to support the submission of a Planning Application.

The successfully delivered consultation and preparation of the Outline Planning Application once again emphasised our ability to carry large-scale strategic sites through the planning process.

NEW SITE: RICARDO COURT, BRAMLEY

We are pleased to confirm that we have recently completed on the purchase of Ricardo Court in Bramley, Surrey.  The site has Outline Planning Permission for 24 homes and an area of open space. 
 
Our Planning and Technical Team are already working on the detailed layout and house designs in order to obtain Full Planning Permission.  We expect, therefore, to start construction later this summer.

Ricardo Court, just 8 miles away from our office in Abinger Hammer is important to us geographically, adding to our presence in the South.  We would be delighted to hear of any similar plots you may have in the region.

MEET THE TEAM

Isabella Holt, Graduate Surveyor

What is your background?
I completed my undergraduate degree at Kingston University, in Property Planning and Development. Shortly after gaining my BSc I started working at Martin Grant Homes as a Graduate Surveyor.  I have been at the firm for nearly two years and I am in the process of preparing my APC submission to the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

What are your responsibilities?
I work alongside Andrew Wilson, Group Land Director, and Haydn Payne, Senior Strategic Planning Manager.  My role consists of the following:

  • Securing the acquisition of new strategic opportunities
  • Assisting with the external valuation process
  • Producing planning reports on speculative sites
  • Acquiring new immediate opportunities
  • Producing legal reports on all strategic sites
  • Carrying out internal viabilities on our strategic land holdings

What is the best part of the job?
The great thing about working in the Land Department at Martin Grant Homes is that no two days are the same and that I get to work all over the South East

NEW SHOW HOMES IN PENROSE PARK AND BEWICK GREEN

We have recently opened the doors to our brand new Show Homes at Penrose Park in Biggleswade and Bewick Green in Wing village. 
 
The sites are enjoying a high footfall of prospective buyers, with houses ideally suited to families and first time buyers alike.

As ever, we’re keen to hear from you.  If you are aware of any potential development sites that meet our current requirements do get in touch. Whether it is capable of being developed within the next 2-3 years, or a site that needs a long-term approach to its successful promotion, we want to hear from you.

At the moment, we are particularly on the lookout for a site for up to 40 houses with Detailed Planning Permission or Subject to Planning opportunities for up to 100 units in the Home Counties – including Surrey, West Sussex, Hampshire and East Berkshire.
