Women's Spring Retreat
The Upper Columbia and Alaska Conferences' Women’s Ministries departments are extending an invitation to the upcoming UCC Virtual Women’s & Young Women’s One Day Spring Retreat, Up from the Ordinary, scheduled for Sabbath, May 1, 2021 from 10am – 4pm. For questions or more information, contact Wendy Urbin at 509-242-0628 or email wendyu@uccsda.org.  Registration is free and is online at: www.uccsda.org/womensministries.

Southcentral Camp Meeting
The conference is working on plans for a hybrid 2021 Southcentral Camp Meeting in-person at the Pioneer Peak camp ground and online. Rather than the traditional five-day event, this year we will gather beginning Thursday morning through Sabbath evening.

  • The Adventist Book Center will be on-site offering food items and books for purchase. Sales pamphlets will be sent to homes shortly.
  • Accommodations: The conference will be reaching out to individuals who originally made reservations for 2020 camp meeting to confirm attendance. Once reservations have been confirmed, we will offer accommodations for RV, tent and cabin to requests received in 2021. Prices tbd.
  • The Blood Bank will not be on campus in July. Meanwhile, consider donating at your local office.
  • Meals will be available for purchase Wednesday a.m. through Friday evening. There will be no meal service or potluck on Sabbath, nor the traditional pancake breakfast.

Visit the conference website at www.alaskaconference.org for ongoing updates.

Young Adults Needed!
The Alaska Conference Youth/Young Adult department is looking for four individuals between the ages of 18-29 that are willing to participate in a DiscipleTrek Training program in Tennessee. We are looking for leaders who stand out and bring this program back to Alaska for the future! It will be held at Southern Adventist University, and hosted by Pastor Rob Lang of the North Pacific Union Conference and his team. If accepted to the Leadership Team, all  trip expenses will be paid, however it comes with the expectation that you will plan, develop, coordinate and run a DiscipleTrek Alaska in 2022. To apply, call the conference at 907.346.1004 ext1017, or email pastortobin@gmail.com and put in the subject, "DiscipleTrek 2021".

Youth-Led Discover Prophecy Seminar
Tomorrow begins a three-weekend Discover Prophecy series planned and led by youth and young adults. Multiple seminars each weekend will take you on a deep dive through the biblical prophecies of the books of Daniel and Revelation. Seminars can be attended in person or via livestream.
