Welcome to Culture PEI.

We want to connect with you! You have established yourself as an integral supporter or influential contributor to our Island's rich cultural sector and we welcome your input as we move forward to form Prince Edward Island's arts, culture and creative industry catalyst.

As Culture PEI works to tailor its newsletters to best suit PEI's creative community, we ask that you take a moment to update your preferences at the bottom of the page. We will be specializing our lines of communication
to correspond with your individual needs and interests. Please specify which disciplinary practices apply to you, or which you would prefer to be "in the cultural know".

New Initiatives

Stay connected with Culture PEI as we continue to develop new, innovative ideas and programming to best support and promote our growing creative communities.

Watermark Theatre: Sarah Hiseler (Arts Administration), Sydney Gillis (Stage Management), Pat Caron (Technical Director), Kira Duff (Wardrobe), Carlie Dugan (Props and Scenic Art), and Brayden Crawford (Carpentry and Tech).

Theatre Mentorship Program

Entering its second year, PEI's Theatre Mentorship Program launched by Skills PEI and Culture PEI, is joined by SYnC Program. Sixteen intern opportunities have been provided to students who had relative focus in respect to theatre production during their post secondary education. This year our interns are working within Watermark Theatre, The Guild, Kings Playhouse, Art in the Open, and on the production of Anne and Gilbert.

Culture Days

Through an annual three-day national event hundreds of thousands of artists and cultural organizations in hundreds of cities and towns come together and invite Canadians to participate in free, interactive and “behind the scenes” activities to discover their cultural spirit and passion. Visit the Culture Days website for more information, and stay connected with Culture PEI for updates and events near you.

Welcome to the relaunch of Culture PEI's newsletter! Culture PEI is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the outcomes and incomes of arts, heritage and creative industry workers in Prince Edward Island. The purpose of our newsletter is to keep you up to date on our activities, let you know about upcoming opportunities and share some of the latest ideas about making a living in the creative sector. To help us serve you better, it would be great if you could update your preferences by clicking here or on the link below. We are also open to hearing any concerns, or suggestions you have in regards to the design and content of the newsletter. Contact with your comments. Have a great summer!
