Pre-health full application review service

Application season for various Health Professions programs is right around the corner! As such, the Pre-Professional Advising Office is once again offering students and recent graduates the opportunity to have their entire application reviewed by our office in anticipation of submitting in May, June, or July. These appointments will be 1 hour in length and are designed to review a students’ FULL application. Students will be asked to submit their materials to our email 48 hours before the appointment (if they are scheduled for a Monday or Tuesday, they should sent their materials by the Friday before).

Students should submit to our email –
  • A pdf copy of their completed application, OR
    • Complete list of their activities section with descriptions, including most meaningful (if applicable)
    • Personal Statement
    • List of schools to which they plan to apply
    • Test scores (or scheduled test date)
    • List of letter writers expected for letters of recommendation
We will only review a students’ full application once. If a student wants to schedule a follow-up appointment, they can, but follow-up appointments will only be 30 minutes long

Personal Statements – sometimes students would like to have their personal statements reviewed. If a student would like us to review their statement, but not their entire application, they can be scheduled for a 30 minute appointment. Students must submit drafts of their personal statements to Mary or Cheri 48 hours before the appointment.

To schedule an appointment or application review with the Pre-Professional Advising Office please call 480.965.2365
