Life Sciences Day | Register now!
Tuesday, May 10, 2022 | 9 am - 5 pm | Virtual and live audience event
Life Sciences Day brings together academic, government and industry sectors to build an awareness of the important work encompassed by life sciences researchers at Carleton. It is also an opportunity for attendees to to expand their professional network and explore potential partnership possibilities.
The event will kick off with remarks from our President and Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Benoit Antione Bacon and will be followed by a special announcement about Life Sciences at Carleton from our newly appointed Dean of Science, Dr. Maria DeRosa.
The event will be held online with an in-person student poster competition showcasing life sciences research at Carleton across various disciplines.

The Faculty of Science will be participating in the Exhibitor Booth to share more about Carleton University’s exceptional academic science programs and award-winning student experiences.

Star Symposium | Climate Change and Health
Friday, May 27, 2022 | 8 am - 4 pm | Richcraft Hall, 2nd Floor Conference Rooms
In affiliation with the STAR (Stress Trauma and Resilience) working group, the CHAIM Centre is pleased to be hosting its inaugural live audience symposium on Friday, May 27th! This event will bring together academics from a range of disciplines to address topics in climate change and health. This one-day symposium will consist of several speakers, round table discussions, student poster presentations and a networking event.

Coronavirus Resources
Carleton University is following the advice of Ottawa Public Health, the Ontario Ministry of Health, Public Health Ontario, and the Public Health Agency of Canada for the latest information about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and recommendations for prevention. Carleton’s Coronavirus website contains a summary of facts from these health agencies as well as answers to questions Carleton faculty, staff, students, and the community may have.
