Here's a summary of some of the things that came up in the Dat ecosystem this month.

Data Terra Nemo

The DTN event was in Berlin on May 17th and a lot of Dat people attended and presented at the conference. We also had a Dat Event on the 19th. Here's some links to summaries of the events:

Cabal is an experimental p2p community chat platform. Recently, they came out with a new version of cabal-desktop.

Bringing the Dat protocol to Firefox

Sam Macbeth wrote a post about how he got Dat working in a Firefox extension using Libdweb and webextify.

SimplyEdit in Beaker

SimplyEdit is a Content Management System that lets people graphically edit P2P websites. You can fork their Hello World example and edit it's contents directly from the website, or check out their docs for more advanced uses.

Beaker's Unwalled Garden Spec

Paul Frazee did a talk at DTN about the new social features coming up in Beaker. He's since published the spec for Unwalled Garden, a files-oriented protocol for building open social applications.
