The election season officially begins with this email.
Our District Council Meeting (DCM) is Saturday, May 7. I invite you to register immediately for the meeting 09:30-12:45 CEST.
On May 7, you will elect your next District Officers and vote on Division realignments.
Send in all your questions and motions before April 22.
The Core Team will answer them in advance of the meeting for time efficiency.

Proxies and Voting
o Proxies are not permitted when the voting process is conducted virtually.
o Each District Council member must cast their own vote.
o District Executive Committee members are entitled to one (1) vote and may cast up to two (2) additional votes as a Club President and/or Vice President Education.
o All other District Council members shall be limited to a maximum of two (2) votes.

Final Candidate photos and biographies will be published on the District 59 easy-Speak home page.
The 2022-2023 DLC report is incomplete (Open positions), therefore,
- Nominations of qualified and eligible candidates may be made from the floor at the annual District Council meeting with the consent of the person(s) nominated.
- Prior to running from the floor, a candidate for Club Growth Director, or Division Director must have completed the District Leadership Committee's evaluation process.
- A candidate who is not nominated by the District Leadership Committee may stand as a floor candidate for a maximum of two (2) District officer roles at the District Council's annual meeting.
- All qualified candidates for a role(s) must declare their intent to run as a floor candidate seven (7) days before the election (MAY 3).
- Visit the District Campaigns and Elections FAQ page and the District Administrative Bylaws, Article VII (e) for more information related to floor candidates.
