A message from Provincetown Town Manager, Robin Craver
Office: 508.487.7002
The recent outbreak of COVID-19 brings concern and uncertainty to our visitors and residents. As a favorite and popular tourist destination, the Town of Provincetown is taking all precautions to make the safety and well-being of the visitors and residents our highest priority.  The Provincetown Board of Health takes public health emergency preparedness and response very seriously.  Health and Emergency Management Officials are closely monitoring the current status of COVID-19 and are taking guidance and following the protocols for managing a potential outbreak as outlined by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
Cape Cod and Provincetown do not have any individuals testing positive for the virus, however, we are taking all precautions to prevent transmission.  The Visitor Services Board and local tourism entities are working closely with businesses, hospitality workers and residents to heighten awareness of sanitary cleansing and personal hygiene behaviors to keep the town a safe haven for everyone who knows it as their home away from home.  Follow this link for more information from the Provincetown Board of Health.  We will be providing frequent updates to this Town COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information page.
We encourage everyone to familiarize themselves with the World Health Organization’s suggested safety precautions including regular hand washing, covering mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, avoiding touching your face and avoiding close contact with anyone showing signs of illness.  Whether you are at work, working from home or traveling to be with loved ones, we all need to take all safety precautions.
