"Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just,
whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, do; and the God of peace will be with you." - Philippians 4:8-9
Note to Parents:
Please refrain from entering the building until 3:10pm. Classes are still in session until the last bell rings and it is distracting to both teachers and students to have parents outside their rooms talking. We prefer to keep our classroom doors open and voices carry in the hallways carry. Thank you for your help!

This week we celebrate
back to back the Feast Day of
The Most Holy Name of Mary
(Sept 12)

Mary always points us to God, reminding us of God’s infinite goodness. She helps us to open our hearts to God’s ways, wherever those may lead us. Honored under the title “Queen of Peace,” Mary encourages us to cooperate with Jesus in building a peace based on justice, a peace that respects the fundamental human rights of all peoples.

Student Spotlight

While waiting for pick up after school, Ari and Jacob Medina helped little Clay and Mrs. Strzalkowski when Clay tripped head first into a door. While Ms. Dion got Clay some ice for his head, Jacob and Ari held the door open and helped Mrs. Strzalkowski carry in her bags. Mrs. Strzalkowski said, "Kudos to Jacob and Ari for showing the virtue of kindness to Clay and myself. They helped us without asking in that moment."

September Lunch Menu Download

This year at St. Mary Catholic School we are requiring from each of our families 10 volunteer hours. We will always need help with our lunch/recess supervision. Each lunch/recess supervision attendance will count towards one of these hours. We hold the safety of our students of the utmost importance and we want to be able to give our teachers a break for lunch throughout the day. In order to do this we need the help of our parents/guardians. Please consider signing up and thank you.

Where do we come from and where are we going? These questions are DECISIVE for understanding what it means to be human and how to orient our lives and our actions toward authentic fulfillment. Join Christopher West and Mike Mangione as they creatively weave together dynamic presentations with live music, movie clips, YouTube videos, and sacred art for an evening of beauty and reflection on the meaning of life, love, and human destiny. You will come away with a faith-filled vision of hope that will instill in you the sheer wonder and joy of being alive…
